Vahid Hosseini


Vahid Hosseini is multiple founder, entrepreneur and scientist with 24 years of experience in research, and innovation. He holds a PhD in Bioengineering from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, an MSc in Materials & Nanotechnology from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden and PharmD in Pharmacy. He served at multiple scientific/executive roles, secured multiple grants, and founded/cofounded multiple manufacturing companies. He filed over 18 patents, published over 35 peer-reviewed articles, and won several awards and honors for his outstanding works. Before founding Hatchless, he served as Chief Scientific Officer of a cultivated meat company and contribute to design and development of one of largest cultivated meat facility to date with >20,000 L bioreactor capacity. He is passionate about advancing science and technology for the benefit of humanity, animal and the environment.
