Food Fermentation Europe

Food Fermentation Europe is the industry alliance representing the fermentation food and food ingredient sector and the ecosystem surrounding it. The alliance, formed in 2023, currently has eight members - Better Dairy, Bon Vivant, Formo, ImaginDairy, Onego Bio, Standing Ovation, Those Vegan Cowboys, Vivici.

Our founding members use the centuries-old technique of fermentation, evolved to a high-tech form called precision fermentation to make animal free milk, cheese, eggs and other products.

We are united in our pursuit to improve the current unsustainable food systems and are committed to mobilize a broad societal range of supporters to further bolster what drives us: The firm belief that we have no time to waste to take courageous political action to enable the speedy roll-out of fermentation-enabled food and technologies in the European Union.
